Pass Decision Day: $20.7 million in scholarships for PCHS Class of ‘18

By Hunter Dawkins

The Pass Christian High School Students set a goal early on the year to earn more scholarship money than had ever been received. Monday morning, the students found this out after the gym-packed audience for their annual “Decision Day” and went ecstatic. “Today is a day for our students to be highlighted on the academic side and we want to make sure that our students realize academics are the key,” said Pass Christian School District Superintendent Dr. Carla Evers. “It’s important for this moment to allow the students to sign as show their peers that life after high school continues.” According to Pass Christian High School Principal, Dr. Robyn Killebrew, this senior class received a record-breaking $20.7 million in scholarship money, including other career choice. Pass Christian High School was ranked again by the Mississippi Department of Education and national news as one of the top high schools in the state of Mississippi.
