Pass veteran returns from Iraq to surprise family
After serving nearly six months overseas, a Pass Christian Marine Corps veteran returned home to his family for the holidays.
Travis Morris, a security contractor, spent most of his year working in Iraq. However, on Friday, Travis and his wife Jordan made his return special by incor-porating the surprise homecoming with the age old Christmas tradition.
Travis stood waiting in holiday gift wrap next to the family’s Christmas tree, as Jordan guided their two children inside.
“The elf brought you something. Do you want to go see it,” Jordan asked her two little ones as she led them to the tree.
Jordan took to Facebook with video of the heartwarming reunion. “Santa brought the kids an early Christmas present!” She said in a post.
Thousands around the na-tion watched in awe as the family reunited for the holidays.
