Lazy Magnolia Brewery is hosting a weekend of Halloween family fun with bands, “spooky food” and a haunted brewery tour that features a scary clown and Brenda, the scary doll in the window.

“We were thinking of something to have the family, give them something else to do from around the community,” said Anne Claire Giles, LMB public relations director. “It’s family friendly. Kids are welcome, but it’s also something that adults can enjoy.”

“We thought it would be something different that would actually draw people out here to enjoy local beer, local food and then of course our haunted tour.” The Haunted Brewer Tours are scheduled for 4, 5 and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday (October 26 and 27) and 11 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Guests can learn about the brewery and its history and experience the frights of Halloween on a 30-minute tour. According to Giles, “It will be scary. We will do a few of them.”

Giles said that LMB will also offer a modified version of the tour that “won’t give the kids nightmares.”

Bands are scheduled for all three days with Kerbside on Thursday, Johnny No on Friday, from 4 – 8p.m., and Shark Attack on Saturday, from 2 – 6 p.m. To schedule Haunted Brewery tour in advance, guests may visit LAZYMAGNOLIA.COM, their page on Facebook or call (228)467-2727.
