Linda Rogers Wallace of Pass Christian passed away peacefully on June 3rd shortly following her 69th birthday at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Linda was born on May 28, 1948 in Norfolk, VA to the late CDR (ret) Donald “Buck” and Betty Rogers. She married the late Robert Stephen Wallace, her soul-mate, on April 3, 1980. On February 12, 1981, she welcomed her son, Scott Wallace.
Linda spent her early life moving often as the child of a US Navy Officer. She moved to Diamondhead in 1980 and would later relocate to Pass Christian in 1997. Linda spent much of her life donating her time and effort to numerous school fundraisers. She was a Real Estate agent with an honest personality. However, Linda’s most exceptional and genuine traits include a love for cooking and sharing this gift entertaining her friends and family. She had a special way of making people feel welcomed and organizing parties and events.
She will be missed by her son, Scott; his spouse, Dana; her grandchild, Madelyn Wallace; her two brothers, Rick Rogers and Randy Rogers; nephews, Christopher Rogers and Rob Wallace; and nieces, Molly Rogers and Libby Rogers.
Family and friends are invited to the Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 12pm to reminisce the life of Linda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Molly Bears.
